China’s fiscal revenues in August rose 34.3 percent from a year earlier to 754.6 billion yuan ($118 billion),the Ministry of Finance said on Tuesday.
That compares with a 27 percent annual rise in July and an increase of 28 percent in June.
Fiscal revenue may grow at a slower clip in the coming months due to moderating economic growth and a higher threshold on personal income taxes since September,the ministry said in a statement on its website. http://www.mof.gov.cn.
Fiscal expenditure in August rose 25.9 percent from a year earlier to 807.7 billion yuan,it said.
For the first eight months of the year,revenues rose 30.9 percent from a year earlier to 7.43 trillion yuan,while spending over the same period hit 5.95 trillion yuan,up about 29.2 percent,the ministry said. ($1 6.388 Yuan)
