Axis Bank Q3 net profit jumps 35.88%

Axis Bank said its net profit jumped 35.88 pct to Rs 891.36 crore for the quarter ended Dec 31.

Private lender Axis Bank said its net profit jumped 35.88 per cent to Rs 891.36 crore for the quarter ended December 31,2010.

The bank had a profit of Rs 655.98 crore in the corresponding period of the 2009-10 fiscal,Axis Bank said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

During the October-December period,the bank’s total income stood at Rs 4,986.02 crore,up from Rs 3,871.74 crore in the same period of 2009.
