Even as Yoga guru Ramdev announced to stage a dharna in New Delhi on June 3 to mark the first anniversary of the police crackdown on his supporters at Ramlila grounds,social activist Anna Hazare said he would participate in the protest.
During a protest in Delhi last month,Anna had said he and Ramdev would extend support to each others agitations as their goals were identical.
Ramdevs fresh campaign against black money and corruption kicked off on Sunday. He told reporters in Haridwar that plans for a bigger agitation in August would be announced on June 3 during his dharna at Jantar Mantar.
We have announced the launch of a country-wide peaceful movement against black money and corruption from today, Acharya Balkrishna,a close associate of Ramdev,said in Dehradun.
Speaking to reporters at Ralegan Siddhi,Anna said: We have decided to carry out this fight together. When I will get a message from him (Ramdev),I would go to Delhi to support him.
