The Karbonn Mobiles 17th Annual Star Screen Award for Best Actor in a negative role went to Ronit Roy for his role of a stern father in Udaan.
I had never held my breath for so long,when the nominations in this category were being read out before the winner was announced. I am extremely proud and humbled at the same time to have received this award. Its absolutely overwhelming. Its been two decades since my debut in Jaan Tere Naam and only my familys unflinching faith kept me going. I am unable to express yet what this award means to me. And to think that originally I was supposed to do Ram Kapoors role! Thanks again!
