NEW DELHI, JANUARY 27: Both the matches in the Addl Director General Remount and Veterinary Service Polo Cup Tournament proved to be one-sided affairs at the Army Equestrian Centre ground on Tuesday.
After Meerut Mutineers thrashed Remount and Veterinary Corps 3-0, Cavaliers triumphed over Teen Murti 2 1/2-1.
Vikram Sodhi, with two goals, was the star of Meerut Mutineer’s victory. Aroonpal Singh was the other scorer for the Meerut team who found the going rather easy on this day.
In the second match, Manoj Dewan opened the scoring for Teen Murti in the opening chukker. With the second chukker remaining blank, the third and the final chukker saw Samarth Shergill and Simran Shergill striking in quick succession to give Cavaliers, who had started on 1/2 goal handicap, an easy win.
