The price tag of popular multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) Toyota Qualis may go up very soon. Toyota Kirloskar Motor has indicated that it will have to increase the price of its Qualis model due to price hike in steel.
On the launch occasion of new variant of its Qualis Royal Saloon (RS) – RS Diesel, the marketing director of T.K.M. Satoshi Aoki said that “we are using 40 per cent imported steel in Qualis which has become expensive due to appreciation in global steel prices.”
