CHANDIGARH, June 8: Times Bank has once again revised its deposit rates. The Bank now offers 11 per cent on deposits of maturity 180 days to less than one year, 11.50 per cent for one year to less than two years, 12 per cent for 2 years up to 5 years and 12.50 per cent for deposits above 5 years.

On 15 days’ deposits, the bank offers 7 per cent, from 30 days up to 89 days 8 per cent and 90 days up to 179 days 9 per cent. Branch head Neena Singh, has, in a release stated that the bank has abolished the penalty of 1 per cent on the applicable rate on pre mature withdrawals of deposits which have run for a period of 180 days and above. As an incentive to high value customers, the bank has offered a premium of 0.5 per cent on deposits above 15 lakh with maturities between 6 months to 1 year.

In the Non-Resident deposits, the NRE and NRNR deposit rates have been increased to 12 per cent for a period of 6 months to 1 year and 12.50 per cent for a period of 1 year to 5 years (NRE) and 1 year to 3 years (NRNR). The bank will remain open the whole week.
