TFA, who made it to the NFL after winning the II-Division, face a serious resource crunch. With Churchill Brothers poaching four of their players — goalkeeper Arindam Bhattcharya, winger Robert Lal Thawsma, K T Paite, stopper-back Varun Deep; Mahindra signing midfielder Bhola Dey and striker Vimal Periyar moving to East Bengal, TFA’s bench strength will be seriously tested.
JCT’s prize catch this season happens to be Chidi Edeh and with the Bagan duo Dharamjit Singh and Tomba Singh too likely to join, the Phagwara outfit too will fancy their chances in NFL ’07.
