Luminaries from media services will come together for a series of seminars organised by the Symbiosis Institute of Media and Communication (SIMC) at the FICCI Auditorium on November 22. The Indian Express Delhi FOOTPRINTS ‘08, a series of media seminars, will encompass various aspects of the media such as advertising, audio-visual, journalism and public relations. “Young Achievers Award” has been initiated by the SIMC this year to felicitate frontrunners in the media.
Special event for the day will be a photo exhibition showcasing work done by NGOs the student body of SIMC is associated with. The festival will also have events such as a photography competition, writing competition on citizen journalism, and a Just A Minute session.
Guest speakers at the seminar include Sabina Sehgal, Editor of Times Food Guide, Kartik Raina, former Managing Director of Dr Morepen, and former Foreign Secretary Shashank.
The event will be on from 9 am to 5 pm at the FICCI Auditorium on Tansen Marg, Mandi House.
