CHANDIGARH, MARCH 22: The Departments of Social Security and Women and Child Development, Punjab today hosted a farewell party for SGPC president Bibi Jagir Kaur, their ex-minister. Romila Dubey, secretary, along with other officials of the directorate were present at the function.
Addressing the gathering, Jagir Kaur thanked the department for their co-operation. Romila Dubey, secretary, and others acknowledged her services and congratulated her on being elected the SGPC president.
Gurdev Kaur Mallan, chairperson of Punjab State Social Welfare Advisory Board and Surinder Kaur Grewal, chairperson of Women Commission were also present on the occasion.
