A classy unbeaten 115 by India junior World Cupper Virender Sehwag topped by Abdul Qayoom and Onkar Singh’s three wicket haul took Indian Airlines Corporation to a 6-wicket win in the Lala Raghubir Singh memorial tourney at the Modern School grounds. With this win, Indian Airlines have qualified for the Super League which gets underway on Wednesday.

The Delhi Veteran Football Club’s Soccer Diary 98′ containing detailed information relating to the World Cup held between 1930 and 1994 and also giving facts about all the 32 participating countries in the World Cup-98 in France, will be released here on June 5. Dedicated to club member and cricketer Raman Lamba, the diary, edited and compiled by DVFC secretary Hem Chand, is the first of its kind in the country.
