PUNE, Jan 10: Safety Week that is being observed in the city does not seem to be so. An autorickshaw driver lost life while two passengers were injured when the vehicle was banged by a tempo on Pune-Alandi Road last night.
The mishap occurred at 11 p.m. opposite Army Insitute of Technology. The rickshaw was proceeding towards Pune. The tempo which was proceeding in the opposite direction rammed against the rickshaw killing the driver Anil Dattatray Ambre (31), resident of Chakrapani Vasahat, Bhosari. Two passengers in rickshaw suffered minor injuries.
