In order to make sure that the elbow has completely healed before he gets back to playing international cricket, Sachin Tendulkar has decided to give the coming Super Series a miss.
The decision came after he received suggestions from Dr Anant Joshi — the consulting physician and sports expert — that he should first play in the domestic circuit to make sure that he is match fit.

‘‘Tendulkar has responded well to the treatment. But he needs to play a couple of domestic matches before getting back to playing international cricket,’’ Joshi said.
The only domestic series available for him to play are the Irani Cup and the Challenger series.
