MUMBAI, SEPT 1: The Republican Party of India (Ambedkar) and the Bahujan Mahasangh combine have released a manifesto promising a new development policy based on land, forest, water and social justice in Maharashtra.
The RPI-Mahasangh alliance has joined hands with the Congress in the State to contest the general elections. Shantaram Pandere, who released the manifesto, strongly criticised the Shiv Sena-Bharatiya Janata Party alliance in Maharashtra for its failure in providing a welfare government.
The manifesto promises a new comprehensive development plan for Maharashtra. It says the general public will be involved into process of planning and implementation of development schemes. The combine has promised at least one job in government, semi-government, private sector or self employment for each household in the State.
