CHANDIGARH, NOV 19: In view of the widespread devastation caused by the cyclone in Orissa, the Utkal Sanskritik Sangh has appealed to city residents to donate liberally for rehabilitating thousands of people rendered homeless in the state.

According to Dr D. Behera, Advisor of Neelachal Trust, Jagan Nath Temple, "People are requested to come forward and help in cash or kind for the rehabilitation of people who are facing shortage of food, clothes, medicines and other basic essentials." All donations can be made in name of Neelachal Trust, which is registered with the government.

The donations made towards this cause are eligible for exemption of income tax. All donations can be forwarded to the Jagnath Temple, Sector 31.
