Reacting to Raj Thackeray’s outburst against her husband Amitabh Bachchan, SP Rajya Sabha MP Jaya Bachchan on Sunday said: “Bal Thackeray is like a father to me and Uddhav is his son. I don’t know any other Thackeray.” She said they were willing to start a school in the metropolis provided the MNS chief donated them the land. “I heard that Raj Thackeray owns huge properties in Maharashtra…in Mumbai… Kohinoor Mills. If he is willing to donate land, we can start a school in the name of Aishwarya here,” she said at a press conference. Later, at the UNPA rally, she chose to start her speech in Marathi and questioned the MNS’s attempts to rake up regional sentiments.
