CHANDIGARH, April 23: A mass dharna was organised by the Punjab State Government Employees Joint Action Committee before the office of the Punjab Chief Secretary in support of its long pending demands.
Addressing the gathering, the chairman of the action committee Jaswant Singh Randhawa said that the committee had already submitted a memorandum in this regard to the Chief Secretary on April 7 for immediate acceptance of demand without any success.

The demands include promotions, conversion of special allowance to special pay, time bound promotions, conveyance to all employees. irrespective of cadre and status and CCA of Rs 300.
