New Zealand skipper Daniel Vettori has questioned Brad Haddins attitude after the Australian wicketkeeper dislodged the bails to send back Neil Broom in what was deemed as a bowled dismissal in the Perth ODI.
You saw from Haddins reaction that he knew something was wrong so he should have made more noise about it, Vettori told the NZPA after the last-ball win over Australia. It is disappointing because I thought that was the partnership that was going to win the game,so it put us under a bit more pressure.
Replays showed that Haddins gloves were in front of the stumps and knocked off the bails while Michael Clarkes delivery appeared to be heading over the stumps. Since neither umpire noticed the movement,it wasnt called a no-ball.
Haddin,meanwhile,denied the charges,saying the dismissal was clean. I am pretty disappointed that he has questioned my integrity,I think it is quite poor.
