The Punjab Police on Wednesday arrested Olympian Vijender Singhs sparring partner Ram Singh in the Rs 484-crore drug haul case being investigated by the Fatehgarh Sahib police.

After Vijenders car being used by Ram Singh was recovered from outside Kahlons house,Ram Singh was questioned for several days by police during which he admitted to have procured heroin from Kahlon and tried it for fun with Vijender.

He was summoned to join investigation in this case again after the name of Ravi Deol surfaced in this case and recovery of drugs (5 kg ice and 90 kg pseudophedrine) was made from Deols parental house in Sangrur.

Deol is Ram Singhs brother-in-law and after questioning Ram Singh it had come to the notice of police that he was continuously in touch with Deol. Deol is a proclaimed offender of the Sangrur police in a case of assault on a government servant as also an alleged drug dealer.
