IPL cricket betting racket busted in Bangalore

A sum of Rs 2,55,370,three mobile phones and a colour TV were seized during the raid.

Two persons were arrested for allegedly running a betting racket in connection with Saturday’s Indian Premier League match between Kings XI Punjab and Deccan Chargers in Dharamsala,police said.

N Vikas (40) and K M Muralidhara (49) were arrested following a raid at an association club located on the St. Marks road yesterday,police said.

A sum of Rs 2,55,370,three mobile phones and a colour TV were seized during the raid,they added.

However,two persons managed to flee the scene,they said.

Vikas and Muralidhara have already been booked for a similar offence in the past,police said.
