India on the radar in FIFA Congress

A meeting between FIFA and AIFF officials to discuss development of the game in India is on the agenda when the 59th FIFA Congress will be held in The Bahamas.

A meeting between FIFA and AIFF officials to discuss development of the game in India is on the agenda when the 59th FIFA Congress will be held in The Bahamas from June 1 to 3.

All India Football Federation Senior Vice-president Subrata Dutta and treasurer Hardev Jadeja will be flying off to Dubai tomorrow from where a chartered flight will take them to Nessau,capital of The Bahamas.

Dutta and Jadeja will attend a meeting with FIFA officials on June 2 on the sidelines of the Congress. The meeting is supposed to focus on FIFA’s developmental plans regarding to Indian football.

The Congress to be held at Paradise Island,will have a Confederations meeting on June 1 while the Congress proper will start the next day. Dutta and Jadeja will return to the country on June 5.
