Gangjee tied 69th after first round at Mylan Classic

Gangjee had birdies on first,fifth and 18th and dropped a double bogey on 13th and a bogey on 15th.

Rahil Gangjee was undone by a double bogey and a bogey on the back nine as he carded an even par 71 to be placed tied 69th in the first round of the Mylan Classic on the Nationwide Tour in the US.

And now is in desperate need of a good second round to make the midway cut.

Daniel Chopra,meanwhile,was also in danger of missing the cut after a first round 74 that left him at 119th place.

Josh Broadway,who plays crosshand,fired a seven-under 64 to take the lead in the first round,which was hit by rain resulting in 57 players unable to complete the first round.

Defending champion Kevin Kisner heads a list of five players in at 4-under 67. Kisner is joined by Craig Bowden,Jay Williamson,Billy Hurley and Australian Nick Flanagan.
