Aussie travellers love to watch porn in hotel rooms: survey

40% of Aussies admitted to splashing out on adult programs during their most recent stay.

A survey has found that Australian travellers love to watch porn in their hotel rooms.

Forty percent of Aussies admitted to splashing out on adult programs during their most recent stay, according to the ‘Hotel Confessional’ survey of 5000 people by travel website Zuji.

Many Aussies admitted to getting up to no good in hotels, with 23 per cent lying about taking items from the mini-bar.

One in three also confessed that they would hide something if they broke it,instead of owning up.

It seems guests face an overwhelming temptation to steal from hotels, with a staggering 65 percent nabbing toiletries as souvenirs and almost 20 percent admitting to taking bathrobes, pillows and towels from their room.

“Despite these admissions, most Australian hotel guests are honest and generous, the Managing Director of ZUJI Australia,” said James Gaskell.

He cited the survey finding that more than 86 percent of Australians will always tip hotel staff when the service deserves it.
