CHANDIGARH, July 23: All seats in the general pool of PEC, Chandigarh College of Architecture and Department of Chemical Engineering were filled here today. Seats in the UT pool in architecture, electrical and mechanical engineering at PEC were also filled.
The last student admitted in electrical engineering had a rank of 979, while the candidate last admitted in civil engineering in the general pool had a rank of 994. Four seats in production, and one in aeronautical have also been filled. According to the chairman of Department of Chemical Engineering, Prof D. K. Vohra, all candidates are eligible for second counselling to be held from August 17-19. The last candidate admitted in mechanical engineering in UT pool had a rank of 648, while the last rank of student admitted in computer engineering was 362. The last candidates admitted in the general pool in electronics and computer were 221 and 145 respectively.
