Indian pacer Irfan Pathan is a doubtful starter for Thursday’s Asia Cup match against arch rival Pakistan in Karachi and the team management will decide just before the match if he has recovered from a side strain.
Skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni said the final call on the left-arm bowler’s fitness would be taken just before the match.
Due to the side strain, Pathan was rested for Wednesday’s match against minnows Hong Kong, which India won by 256 runs.
