The Bombay High Court on Friday ordered the Regional Passport Officer, Mumbai to expeditiously issue a passport to underworld gangster Chhota Rajan’s brother Deepak Nikalje, producer of the film Vaastav.
The division bench of Justice R M Lodha and Justice Dilip Bhosale quashed and set aside two orders dated October 9, 2000 and June 8, 2001 passed by the Regional Passport Officer (RPO), Mumbai and the Joint Secretary, Chief Passport Office, MEA respectively.
