Pakistan Foreign Minister Inam-ul-Haq will arrive in New Delhi on Thursday to take part in the 2-day SAARC Council of Ministers meet beginning Friday.

Pakistan Foreign Minister Inam-ul-Haq will arrive in New Delhi on Thursday to take part in the 2-day SAARC Council of Ministers meet beginning Friday.

The Council of Ministers is meeting six months after the last Saarc Summit held in New Delhi. It will review the implementation of decisions taken at the summit.

Haq is also likely to meet External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee on the sidelines of the two-day meet.

The council meeting will review economic, social and cultural cooperation among Saarc countries in the context of New Delhi Declaration. The meeting will take up the issues of economic, social and cultural cooperation among member countries that were given further impetus at the 14th SAARC Summit which New Delhi hosted.
