NSUI clean sweep in DUSU elections

NSUI, the students' wing of Congress, on Saturday swept the Delhi University Students Union (DUSU) elections, with its candidates emerging winners in all the four top posts.

NSUI, the students’ wing of Congress, on Saturday swept the Delhi University Students Union (DUSU) elections, with its candidates emerging winners in all the four top posts.

NSUI candidate Amrita Bahri was elected as President of the DUSU while its nominee Debraj Talan won the election to the post of Vice President, Chief Election Officer Gurmeet Singh said.

Manish Choudhary was elected as General Secretary while Khushbo Sharma would be the new Joint Secretary, he said.

The elections were conducted on Friday in the main campus and affiliated colleges. There were 32 candidates, including those fielded by BJP-backed ABVP.
