KOLLAM (Kerala), June 26: Kerala’s ruling LDF has lost control of the Kundara panchayat, with the president, K Rajamma (CPI), being voted out in a no-confidence motion brought by the Congress(I). Rajamma was voted out by five votes against four. The charge against her was inaction. The election of K Ramachandran (Cong-I) as her successor is a certainity, as the post is reserved for Dalits, and Ramachandran is the only SC member from the Congress(I).
