NASIK, NOV 11: The situation in tribal-dominated Nandurbar in north Maharashtra, where over 20 persons were injured in clashes between two groups on Wednesday, continued to be tense but under control on Thursday.
Curfew, which was imposed on Wednesday, was still in force, according to state police control sources here. Trouble erupted in Nandurbar’s Kali-Masjid locality when a child sustained minor injuries following bursting of crackers.Several commercial establishments continued to be closed following the incident, police said.
