NAGPUR, February 7: Devendra Phadnavis of BJP was today re-elected for the second consecutive term as the city’s mayor, the first to be so elected under the new Mayor-in-Council system in Maharashtra.
Phadnavis secured 93 votes out of the total 126 polled against his rival, Kalyansingh Kapoor of Republican Party of India, who got 32 votes. One vote was invalid.
