MUMBAI, SEPT 7: Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Mulayam Singh Yadav on Tuesday said his party will strive to wipe out the Bharatiya Janata Party-Shiv Sena combine not only from the State but also the whole of the country if his party is voted to power.

Speaking at a rally held at Basketball ground, Mastan Talau, Mulayam urged the over 2,000 people, to vote for the SP candidates. He promised reservations for Muslim women as they were badly represented. The SP chief also said the minority community in the country today is a force to reckon and it is necessary for them to exercise their franchise.

Strongly criticising the BJP Government for its inept handling of the Kargil conflict, he accused them of neglecting Muslims’ role in the Army.
