VADODARA, JAN 31: M S University Vice-Chancellor Anil Kane today proposed a separate place for members of the university’s International Students’ Association where they could hold meetings and organise cultural programmes.

Speaking on the occasion of the association’s celebrations, Kane said: “The students who come from other parts of the world come with a lot of expectations, hence the university authorities on their behalf should try to make every possible effort for the convenience of these students.”

He added that the students had been complaining about the need to have a place for them so that they could arrange their meetings and are able to hold their cultural programmes frequently. Kane added that he already had two or three places in mind for the benefit of these students.

Kane said he believed that such programmes should be organised more often than the current twice-a-year status. That, he added, would be possible only if they received cooperation from university officials.
