YAVATMAL, May 21: A 60-year-old woman, Hirabai Laxman Maghade, was hacked to death by her son, when she refused to hand over her five gram gold ring. The Arni police visited the spot and sent the body for postmortem. The police registered a case against the son under Section 302 of IPC. Further investigation will be carried out under PSI Omprakash Ambadkar of Arni.
