AHMEDABAD: The Anti-Terrorist Squad has arrested Razak Nasir Kasim in Mumbai who sent a threatening e-mail to CM Narendra Modi. The ATS probed where the e-mail — dated October 13 and received on http://www.narendramodi.org — originated from. Investigations linked the e-mail to Chrysalis Infosystems, a software developing firm where Kasim was employed. Interrogation and investigation have revealed that he ‘‘had sent the e-mail to Modi in retaliation to the Godhra incident.’’ (ENS) You have exhausted your

Jaitley ruled out any tie-up with other parties in the polls. He said the BJP had asked its district units to give their recommendations on the allotment of tickets to the state election committee.
Jaitley said that the BJP has decided to focus on the party’s ‘‘achievements’’ on water supply, the inflow of the Narmada water and a string of check dams built by former chief minister Keshubhai Patel.
Regarding the Congress, Jaitley said it calls itself as a secular outfit with state unit chief Shankarsinh Vaghela calling himself Shankarullah. “But it has also pasted posters all over Gujarat identifying itself with Hindus,” he said.
