MUMBAI, OCT 29: A fine all-round performance by Rishubh Kumblar helped St John Baptist, Thane defeat Shailendra’s Education by eight wickets in the Harris Shield Inter-Schools Cricket Tournament sponsored by Colgate-Palmolive at the Azad Maidan today.

Kumblar took three wickets for just 17 runs as Shailendra were skittled out for just 118 runs. He was ably supported by Siddharth Nachankar (3-30). Kumblar then struck an unbeaten 28 to take his team to victory.

Parag Madkaikar’s all-round display, however, ended up in vain as his team Aryan, Girgaum lost to St Thomas, Bandra by a solitary wicket. Madkaikar scored 30 and then took four wickets. But a gritty unbeatn 30 by Siddarth Bhatia undid Madkaikar’s efforts.
