CHANDIGARH, May 5: The mini basketball festival for under-10 boys and girls, which began here on April 24 will conclude on May 11. The event is being organised by Active Sports and the rules have been modified for the budding players.
Teams from five schools are participating in the meet. The teams are St Stephen’s School-45, St John’s School-26, Vivek High School-38, St Annes-32 and Carmel Convent-9.
The matches are being played of four quarters and the duration of each quarter is ten minutes, with two minute of break between each quarter.
The last match of the festival will be played at Vivek High School. Vivek School will play with St Stephen’s School in b oth the boys and girls section.
After the meet, the organisers will evaluated the fitnees of the players.
