MIDNAPORE, JUNE 12: A MiG-27 IAF aircraft crashed this morning at Rohini village in West Bengal’s Midnapore disctrict, injuring its pilot and two villagers, police said. Squadron Leader Joshi was on a routine sortie from Kalaikunda airbase on Dudhkumar range at 7.30 am when the ground control detected a fire at the tail end of the aircraft and alerted him when the plane was flying over thickly populated Birdohi village. oshi ejected before the plane crashed on an unoccupied hut and was burnt to pieces in Rohini village, Sanyal said.
