CHANDIGARH, Nov 19: To discuss the common diseases of the tropical areas, a Continuing Medical Education (CME) is being organised by the Department of Medicine, Government Medical College, Sector 32, on November 22 at CSIO Auditorium, Sector 30, informed Dr H.S. Malhotra, Head of the Medicine Department at GMCH. About 250 delegates from the region will participate in the CME to discuss diseases like malaria, tuberculosis, snake bite, worm infestations, dengue fever, epidemic dropsy, hepatitis-B.
Lectures on developing resistance to malaria and tuberculosis and the recent advances in diagnostic techniques and new drugs would be delivered.
