November 25: The Asia-Pacific Head and Neck Cancer Congress will be held at Nehru Centre from December 11 to 14. Organising chairman of the meet, Dr Ashok Mehta said India was chosen from among 19 participating nations to be the host. The congress is being held under the auspices of International Federation of Head and Neck Oncologic Societies (IFHNOSs), representing 20 head and neck societies from 19 countries.
Dr Mehta informed that 150 doctors from 40 countries will be addressing the congress, adding, “The scientific programme has been designed to tackle problems of head and neck cancers in developing countries.”
