EXPRESS NEWS SERVICEMUMBAI, AUG 26: Mangrish Palekar and Sampada Shetye have been given the pride of place in the men’s and women’s section respectively of the Maharashtra State Senior Ranking Badminton Tournament being organised by the PJ Hindu Gymkhana at their courts from August 27.

Amrish Shinde, Vivek Gautam and Vikrant Patwardhan, who was the top seed in the National Sports Club of India Senior Ranking tournament held recently, are the number two, three and four seeds respectively. Shinde and Mayur Ghatnekar are the top seeds in the men’s doubles, while Sampada Shetye and Madhavi Kashikar are the top seeds in the women’s doubles of the four-day event.
