NEW DELHI, May 20: Kamal Chopra (42) and Kesar Choudhry (50) helped Madras Club score a five-wicket victory over FCI in a A division match of the DDCA League at the Kotla No 1 ground.

An unbeaten 50 by Haryana off-spinner Pankaj Thakur heled FCI reach 189 for nine in the stipulated 40 overs. Madras Club replied with 190 for five in 38.3 overs.

In a C division match at the Kotla No 2 ground, Syndicate Bank beat Gemini by 177 runs.

At the Khalsa College ground, Indian Airlines (213 for 6 in 40 overs: Ashok Singh 64, Sanjay Sharma 38, Salman Hyder 39, Sambhav 3 for 40) defeated Bright (182 for 9 in 40 overs: Tarun Ahuja 48, Rakesh Kaushal 29, Rakesh Choudhary 4 for 36, Manoj Sharma 3 for 34) by 31 runs in a A division match.

In another match at the Yamuna Sports Complex, Young Cricketers (242 for 6 in 40 overs: Jaideep Gill 124, Kuldeep Rai 2 for 46) beat Life Insurance Corporation (193 for 9 in 40 overs: Rajesh Azad 43, Jatin Khanna 3 for 25) by 49 runs.
