HYDERABAD, Dec 13: Liquor will not be sold henceforth in AP Travel and Tourism Development Corporation (APTTDC) -approved cottages and restaurants in Andhra Pradesh. The Andhra Pradesh Government has decided to cancel all licences granted to “accommodation and catering units” of the APTTDC for purchase of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) from retail shops for tourists.Official sources told The Indian Express that instructions were issued to Excise Commissioner A K Goel on Thursday to withdraw permission immediately.
