CHANDIGARH, May 29: In view of the substantial hike in UT pay-scales, the licence fee being charged for the houses of the General Pool of the Chandigarh Administration has been revised. It is officially stated that the licence fee for the houses meant for ministers has been increased from Rs 1,360 to 1,635 per month; that for deputy ministers from Rs 500 to Rs 600 w.e.f. November 1, 1997. The licence fee for MIG flats in Sector 44 has been revised from 10 per cent of the basic pay plus CCA to Rs 65 per month from January 1, 1996 from the date of revision of new pay-scales.
