Mulayam Singh keeping BJP option open after UP polls: Digvijay

In pre-poll rhetoric,Cong leader says Samjwadi Party chief also doesn't give statements against RSS.

Congress national general secretary Digvijay Singh has alleged there is a possibility of a post-poll alliance between Samajwadi Party and Bhartiya Janata Party as SP Supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav never gives any statement against the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.

Addressing an election meeting here last night,Singh said Yadav was also friends with Kalyan Singh,an accused in the Babri mosque demolition case.

SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav never gives any statement against Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh,he said adding that under such circumstances Yadav can join hands with BJP to form government after the UP polls.

Attacking the ruling BSP,he said the party’s act against corruption was nothing more than farce.

BSP ousted ministers facing corruption charges from the cabinet, but FIRs were not lodged against any of them,he said.

Uttar Pradesh will go to polls spread over seven phases in February and March.
