KOCHI, Dec 25: The Centre’s decision to ban lotteries has sent shock waves across Kerala as the ‘fortune’ industry contributes a hefty sum to the State exchequer as profit, besides providing large-scale employment. The State, which as had a track record of running the show successfully for well over three decades will be the worst hit by the ban, sources said.
