President of the Kerala unit of the Youth Congress KP Anil Kumar today alleged that DIC-K leader K Karunakaran had given Rs 10 crore to CPI(M) State secretary Pinarayi Vijayan to admit his party into the LDF fold.
Addressing reporters here, he alleged that Karunakaran had proved that anything could be achieved with money.
Anil, who is here as part of the Kerala Youth March from Kasargod to Thiruvananthapuram, said Vijayan was supporting DIC-K as he had ‘‘taken money’’ from Karunakaran. He also said that Vijayan’s Kerala Yatra was not for any development or social justice.
According to Anil, LDF partners like CPI and RSP were against admitting the DIC-K into the LDF.
Meanwhile, in a press meet in Thiruvananthapuram, Indira Youth Congress President Ibrahim Kallar said Anil was trying to gauge Karunakaran as he was judging KPCC president Ramesh Chennithala and Chief Minister Oommen Chandy.
