KANPUR, SEPT 28: Kanpur industrialist Jagdish Gulati was among the seven Indians killed in a mid-air collision between two helicopters in Switzerland on Tuesday.
Kamal Gulati, brother of the deceased, said Jagdish, treasurer of Kanpur Industrialsts Association, was on a sight-seeing tour of Alps when the tragedy occurred.
Jagdish’s wife and two-year-old daughter escaped death as they stayed back in the hotel, he said, adding his brother’s body would arrive here tomorrow.
Jagdish along with his family had gone to Germany to participate in an exhibition of aluminium products. From there they went on a sight-seeing trip to Switzerland, Kamal said.
Seven Indians were killed when two helicopters ferrying them, collided in mid-air on Tuesday in southwest Switzerland.
The victims were part of a group of 140 Indians who were taking brief five-minute aerial tours of the Alps.
