Pakistan leg-spinner Danish Kaneria was fined his full match fee and severely reprimanded for using obscene language in ‘sending off’ Australian Michael Clarke here today. Kaneria, who was his team’s best-performed bowler with 3-106 off 30 overs, was reported by the three match umpires and appeared in an end-of-play hearing before match referee Ranjan Madugalle of Sri Lanka. The fine is believed to be around $9,250. — AFP
