A 15-year-boy has invented Nova Front Face Braille Writer that helps a blind person to read and write like a normal person. Taking note of his invention, US-based MIT has named a planet between Mars and Jupiter as 12509 Pathak after Madhav Pathak, a tenth class student from Joy Higher Secondary School here.
The apparatus enables a blind person to write from right to left and turn over the punched paper sheet to read what’s written. The CSIR has got Madhav’s invention patented with it. It is also giving him a cash award of Rs 50,000.
